To say it was an uplifitng experience is an understatement.He sang for just over 2 hours non stop with a great band and 3 great girls who were his backing singers.My hands were sore from clapping and my legs ached from dancing and standing up. I know you can't compare him to Don and wouldn't want to anyway but he was very good..

Posts: 24 (06/14/08 3:51 PM) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	Neil's early stuff - both his own hits like "Cherry Cherry" and "Solitary Man," and some of the ones he wrote for the Monkees ("I'm A Believer" and "A Little Bit Me, A Little Bit You") are among my favorite songs of the mid-60's. His most recent album, 12 Songs, is VERY good.

Posts: 1 (06/21/08 8:32 AM) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	Neil's current album "Home Before Dark" has recently made number 1 in the UK and US and remains at number 2 in the UK where three of his albums occupy the top-11 places. Listening to this album reminds me of Don McLean and how fantastic it would be for Don to record some classic or new songs of this quality with the support of Rick Rubin. Neil Diamond is unlike any other in concert and I am looking forward to the shows at the O2 arena and Wembley this week.
